Media: presidential and parliamentary elections in Türkiye not to be postponed
The presidential and parliamentary elections in Türkiye will not be postponed from May 14 to a later date due to the earthquake, the Turkish media reported, citing sources in the ruling coalition. Thus, the authorities rejected the opposition's accusations that the government would prefer to postpone the elections while the country was coping with a national catastrophe.
